Community Conversations: Sister to Sister

A Women's Health Initiative

Community Conversations Women’s Health Initiative (CC) is dedicated to addressing barriers to improved health outcomes in the black community, to empowering community participants as they navigate the medical system, and to assisting in community members’ search for the highest quality care for themselves and their families.

Professional Volunteers: Offer us your skills in legal issues, marketing/communications, design, leadership and team development, grant writing, strategic planning, and related fields!

Faculty: Help lead a monthly session and discussion as a woman from medicine, science, public health, and/or health policy!

Committee Members: Be involved in organization governance, from event support and fundraising to community outreach!

Interns: Immerse yourself in public and community health as a student (graduate, undergraduate, or a very promising high schooler)!

Our greatness has always come from people who expect nothing and take nothing for granted - folks who work hard for what they have, then reach back and help others after them. Michelle ObamaLawyer, Writer, Former First Lady
